Campus Events Update

The Office of Admissions and Recruitment will be cancelling all prospective student and admitted student events on the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus due to concerns about the current and potential impact of COVID-19 (formerly novel coronavirus).

UW–Madison leadership has been monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and is working closely with local, state, and federal agency partners. In an effort to slow the spread of the virus, they have just announced some changes to campus operations. One of these changes is that we are unable to host campus tours and visits from Thursday, March 12 through Friday, May 15. We’re making this change on advice of our health partners to protect the health and safety of our tour guests and employees.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to reschedule these events, however we still anticipate holding events beginning May 16. While we are not cancelling events from May 16 on, we are unable to guarantee that events will be held after this date. We will continue to adapt our plans accordingly, keeping the health and safety of our campus community at the center of our decisions. Should additional cancellations be needed, we will notify all registrants as soon as we are made aware.
