Athletics

UW–Madison athletics is a powerhouse. A 23-sport program with almost 900 student-athletes, UW Athletics is home to the 2019 NCAA Tournament-winning Badger Women’s hockey team, the 2020 Big Ten Champion Badger Men’s Basketball team, men’s and women’s track & field, rowing, golf, volleyball, tennis, and more. And of course, thousands of Badgers come “Jump Around” at UW’s legendary Badger Football games at Camp Randall every season.

The Kohl Center

The Kohl Center, which opened in 1998, is home to Badger men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s hockey. It is considered one of the finest on-campus facilities in all of collegiate athletics. From computers to lounge areas to audio/video systems, the Kohl Center provides everything under one roof. In addition to the competitive floor, the Kohl Center houses state-of-the-art practice facilities, the Fetzer Academic Center, athletic training and rehabilitation facilities, strength and conditioning training areas, newly remodeled locker rooms, and coaching staff offices.
