Position title: Admissions Counselor, Transfer
Arriana earned her Bachelors of Arts degree at UW-Madison with a double major in Political Science and Latin American, Caribbean, and Iberian Studies. Some of her favorite memories as a student include study abroad, joining an org called BRIDGE, and assisting families and students with financial aid while working in the Office of Student Financial Aid as a student worker.
While Arriana is not technically a first generation college student, she identifies with the challenges that first generation students face. As someone who had to independently navigate many aspects of life, including college, Arriana is passionate about helping students find a pathway to UW-Madison, serving as a resource for students, and supporting students in finding their community.
Also a former transfer student, Arriana understands that everyone’s educational journey is different, and it is one of her main goals to work on finding ways to make higher education accessible and equitable to students with diverse experiences and identities
