Current UW–Madison Students

Become a Wisconsin Admissions Volunteer (WAV)

We encourage all current undergraduates who are proud Badgers with a passion for meeting future students to consider becoming a Wisconsin Admissions Volunteer (WAV). This group extends the reach of the Office of Admissions and Recruitment and helps us as we work to contact, connect with, and enroll top-quality students from across the country. Learn more about the program and apply today to become one of our volunteers.

Resources for Current UW–Madison Students

Submitting Transcripts

After completing a course off campus, request that an official transcript be mailed or sent electronically to the Office of Admissions and Recruitment. Electronic transcripts must be sent through a secure, approved document sending service. Transcripts sent through email, as an attachment, will not be accepted as official. Paper transcripts sent to our office must bear an official school seal or be printed on the school’s custom watermarked/security paper.

Reentry and Study Abroad

If you plan to leave UW–Madison for a semester or more to take courses elsewhere (either at a US or foreign institution), you will need to submit a reentry application prior to returning to UW–Madison. Get more information on reentry admissions and transfer credit for reentry students. Students who study abroad through a UW–Madison sponsored program do not need to apply for reentry admission.
