Kate Bergum

Kate Bergum grew up in Superior, Wisconsin, and earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology, English literary studies, and professional writing from the University of Oklahoma in 2017. She went on to teach as a Fulbright ETA at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in North Macedonia.

She came to Madison to pursue a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction through the UW-Madison Teach Program and has been here ever since! She is proud to have worked as an English teacher at Madison East High School for four years before returning to UW.
