Payton Beverly

Biography

Prior to coming to UW–Madison, Payton worked at other universities, where he developed a passion for building relationships with students and helping them to be successful in college. This journey has brought him back home to Madison, WI, where Payton gets to continue to live out that passion while being close to family and friends.

Growing up in Madison, Payton attended Vel Phillips Memorial (formerly James Madison Memorial) High School. As UW–Madison welcomes him home, he’s excited for summers at the Union, Badger football, and eating at his favorite downtown restaurant, The Globe.

When he’s not recruiting students, Payton likes to attend Bucks games. He also collects sneakers and vintage apparel. One of his favorite vintage stores is right here on State Street, Singlestitch.
