Paul Compton

Paul Compton is the Senior Associate Director for Admissions and oversees the work of application review for all first-year and transfer applications to the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Paul received his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Wheaton College (IL), a masters’ in higher education from Loyola University Chicago, and most recently an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. As a first-generation college student, Paul has been deeply involved in access work and energized by the capacity for personal and social change that can take place on a college campus. A love of cheese curds, the Northwoods, and the lakeside are all highlights of living in Madison while working at the university.
