Hi! My name is Devin, and I am a sophomore double-majoring in Operations Management and Risk Management with certificates (minors) in Health Policy and Consulting. I am from Milwaukee, WI, and I love to spend quality time with my friends, try new foods, go to the gym, and play all kinds of sports!
My favorite Badger memory was my first time sitting on the iconic red chairs outside of Memorial Union Terrace. The Terrace was filled with people enjoying the warm fall air and getting some sunlight. I remember vividly smiling and seeing all the different options available just by the terrace. There were people sailing, swimming, tanning, running, and
enjoying a live performance on the terrace stage. This is when I knew, UW-Madison was for me.
One piece of advice is to put yourself out there. This is a common piece of advice, but not many people take it. Talk to your people in your dorm, in your classes, and especially at Welcome Week events! Attend all these welcome events. These events are still some of my favorite memories with some of my best friends, that I am still friends with today.
