I chose to attend UW–Madison because of the school spirit and atmosphere can’t be beat. I loved the overall vibes of the school from the sports teams and student life to the campus itself.

What really sets UW–Madison apart from other schools is the campus. I love how the school is by the lake; it makes summer and winter that much more special when we can swim or go on walks on the frozen ice. I really have come to appreciate how the campus is also in the city of Madison, but still feels like its own place. There are so many things to do in Madison beyond just campus life, like going to concerts, trying new restaurants, and going to the farmers market. There is such a great community here beyond the school that is great to be a part of.

I want #FutureBadgers to know that campus is large spread out, but it doesn’t feel like that. You are always running into people on walking on campus, at the gym, or in class. Don’t let the size be intimidating! It can be as big or small as you make it. Even though the school is so big, somehow everywhere I go I am always running into people I know, and that makes it feel much smaller.
