Blaine Harvey

Blaine completed a Bachelor’s in History and Secondary Education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a Master’s of Education in Student Affairs from Grand Valley State University. Before his graduate studies, he spent three years teaching in rural Japan through the JET Program and developed an even greater interest in East Asian languages and cultures.

Outside of work, Blaine enjoys gardening, spending Saturdays cooking recipes, and doing crafty things like building paper lanterns, writing Japanese calligraphy, and printing t-shirts.
