Genevieve Jacobs

Genevieve is a dedicated member of the OAR team at UW-Madison, where her passion for education and inclusion drives her work in higher education admissions. An alumna herself of UW-Madison, Genevieve earned her bachelor’s degree as a triple major in mathematics, statistics, and Asian languages and cultures. She furthered her academic journey by completing a master’s degree in Chinese, complementing her studies in Japanese and Korean.
From 2018 to 2024, Genevieve worked for the UW-Madison PEOPLE Program, which she considers one of the university’s most impactful initiatives. Her experience working with precollege scholars and inclusive programming has equipped her with valuable insights that inform her current role. With a strong background in multicultural studies and a steadfast commitment to equitable access, Genevieve strives to create mutually beneficial relationships between students and the university.
Outside of her professional life, Genevieve enjoys gaming, writing, and drawing, and pampering her two pet rabbits, Muffin and Waffle.
