Kayla Jensen
Position title: Assistant Director for Campus Programs and Engagement

Kayla earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has a Master of Education degree from Chaminade University of Honolulu. As a student at UW-Madison, Kayla lived in Chadbourne Residential College, worked as a peer advisor at CCAS and SOAR, and soaked up every opportunity to engage as a student in the wonderful School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Kayla has a passion for working with first-generation college students and has spent her career supporting students to and through college – starting with teaching middle school in Waianae, Hawai’i and working at College Track in the San Francisco Bay Area before landing in the admissions office at UW-Madison.
After growing up in Green Bay, WI, Kayla is a lifelong Packers fan and season ticket holder. Outside of work, she also loves doing manicures, hiking, traveling, sewing, and spending time with her husband and two kids (the latter of whom think Bucky Badger is her boss).
