Bettie Mattison

Bettie graduated from Marquette University with a bachelor’s in criminology & law studies and a minor in sociology. Bettie also has a masters’ degree from Northern Illinois University. Bettie has worked in admissions since 2019 and held leadership roles at various levels. As a first-generation student, born and raised in Milwaukee, Bettie is extremely passionate about equity and access in higher education. So, Bettie centers their work on first-generation and underrepresented student perspectives.

Bettie enjoys going to concerts, traveling, trying new food and restaurants, dancing, and spending time with friends.
