Emily has had an untraditional approach to school. She first started by taking a gap year after high school to pursue traveling where she ended up becoming an Au Pair (live-in nanny) for a family in Italy. Upon returning home she enrolled at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh at Fox Cities campus in Appleton where she completed her first two years of undergrad. She then transferred to University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Multimedia Communications in May 2021 as a first-generation student.

This last year Emily was a first-year graduate student at Minnesota State University, Mankato studying School Counseling. After spending a year in a high school as a counseling intern she realized she loved working at the university level and decided to put school on hold to pursue a career at University of Wisconsin-Madison instead.

Emily enjoys Dunkin’ Donuts, hiking, thrifting, watching true crime documentaries, tattoos/piercings, as well as spending time with her family, friends, and boyfriend. She is from the La Crosse area and is thrilled to call Madison her new home!
