Emma Sutkay

Emma is a Wisconsin native and has been a team member of the Office of Admissions and Recruitment since 2016. She has a passion for holistic application review and enjoys reading applications from the many talented and inspirational students who apply to UW-Madison. Emma earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Spanish Studies from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time reading, traveling to new places, hiking around the US, and spending time on the lake in the summer at her family’s cabin. She is also a huge golden retriever lover and spends her free time taking her dog, Elsie, for walks and volunteering with a Wisconsin-based golden retriever rescue organization.
