Rachel Tatge

As a first-generation college student, Rachel transferred to UW–Madison and studied Journalism & Mass Communication, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2007. During her time in school, she sought many internships and gained invaluable work experiences in marketing, promotions and event planning. Upon graduation, she parlayed this experience into her first full-time job, working as a marketing and events coordinator for a local media organization.

Before Rachel started planning events full-time at UW–Madison, she got into the Badger spirit by planning private events for dozens of former Badgers, including two professional hockey players and the former chancellor. Now that she works in the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, she is thrilled to utilize her event planning expertise to showcase the outstanding campus programs and resources that await undergraduates. In her spare time, she loves snuggling with her adorable pup Lola, cooking (and eating) delicious food, and watching some pretty terrible reality TV.
