Taylor

Hi! My name is Taylor, I am a sophomore, and I am from Madison, WI! As much as I love school, I also love spending time outside with friends walking through the Arboretum or the Lakeshore Path, going swimming in the lakes when it is warm, and traveling! 

My favorite Badger tradition, although I love them all, is definitely singing Varsity at sporting events. Since I was a kid, I have always loved how the badger community comes together to sing the alma mater, and I feel like the song represents so much more than just the sports culture at UW-Madison. Varsity really embodies the incredible UW-Madison community that grows beyond the physical university. 

One piece of advice I would give to anyone considering UW-Madison is to really look into the things you are passionate about! UW-Madison’s size can be very advantageous, and you can find so many incredible opportunities around every corner. Additionally, even with how large the university is, there are so many ways to make it feel small and build your own community. Everyone at UW-Madison is so welcoming, and it is very easy to find your place here!
