Mailia Thao

Mailia graduated from UW-Madison with a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies in May of 2021. She identifies as a First-Generation Hmong American college student. Mailia was born in Thailand but raised in Madison WI. Her last job was with the City of Madison working on the Emergency Rental Assistance program helping educate and assist community members about access to the program and how to apply. During her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her sisters while shopping.
